Topos manufactures unique all-in-one melting and filtration tanks for dissolving and supplying fresh frying fat / oil to continuous fryers, storing frying oil during production break or when cleaning the fryer while keeping it heated to prevent degradation, and providing perfect filtration for maximum efficiency and hygiene in the production of all fried foods.
The MFR-730 is a melting, filtering, reservoir that can hold up to 730 US liquid gallons ( c. 2760 liters ). It contains a set of 10 kW ceramic resistive heating elements capable of efficiently maintaining the optimal oil-storage temperature ( 150° Fahrenheit / 65° Celsius ). Resistive heating elements are externally surface-mounted underneath the tank. This indirect, surface contact heating via the bottom wall minimizes temperature-related degradation of the frying oil ( this degradation normally comes from direct contact immersion heater elements, and the associated fouling of such components ). Additionally, mounting the resistive heaters on the external surface eliminates the need for penetrations through the wall of the tank. This eliminates any potential for leaks associated with such penetrations.
The control panel features Allen-Bradley PanelView touch screen user interface. This interface displays pertinent data values and warnings for the operator. These warnings can be oil temperature, system activity callouts, pressure readings, live oil level measurements, and more. This all-stainless-steel unit is supplied and installed including oil distribution pipes connected to the fryer, and its capacity allows it to be connected to several continuous fryers at the same time. The slide-gate opening allows for simple and easy fat-adding.
